For those who showed concern for my sister I thank you. I have a quick update.
She is now negative and back in her room. I believe the first dose of vaccine made a difference but that is only my opinion.
My sister has since received her second dose. I hope it protects her. The problem is that so far the experts do not know.
Turning the subject to me I have an appointment to get my first dose tomorrow afternoon. I will be getting the Moderna vaccine. That is what is available.
I will be given an appointment to return for the second dose in 28 days.
I am a little nervous. I will let you know how it goes.
I was nervous also, however, it was fine. The next day I had a sore arm and that was all. Mine was in a pharmacy at 7:30 pm and I was the only one getting a shot. I am expecting to get contacted for my second shot this week. I hope that is so.ReplyDelete
I am glad you were able to be vaccinated.Delete
You will be fine, Emma. Go for it.ReplyDelete
I am leaving in about 15 minutes.Delete
Lucky, lucky to get the vaccine. My state just informed me I *might* get the vaccine in "late 2021 or early 2022." Sheesh!ReplyDelete
Sheesh is right. I hope it is sooner rather than later.Delete
oh this is such a good new about your sister dear Emma ,i can imagine how reliving it must be for you as sisterReplyDelete
i am so happy that you are going to receive first dose of vaccine ,i can understand you are bit anxious but i think there is no need to be one ,all will be great i am sure once you are vaccinated freidn!
I am happy about my sister. Now her phone is acting up again. I have to get news about her from either my nephew or brother-in-law.Delete
Being nervous is an appropriate response. I had my first one a few weeks ago. I know everyone is different, but the worst of it was a sore arm for about 24 hours. I get my second one at the end of the month. So happy to hear you are getting yours!ReplyDelete
As long as I do not end up with an extra head or something I will be fine.Delete
I had Pfizer vaccine on Monday now waiting for 3 weeks for the second one. I had a one day sore arm but nothing serious and all went well. Good luck. Take care and keep safe, DianeReplyDelete
You stay safe too.Delete
Good luck with your vaccination.ReplyDelete
All the best Jan
