At the time I didn't think it was romantic, but looking back it was pretty romantic. Our first Valentine's Day as a married couple, hubby came home with an ironing board. I was hoping for jewelry or flowers, LOL, but in reality, it was a very romantic thoughtful gift as we didn't have an ironing board at the time and I would iron my work clothes on the floor. So it was very thoughtful :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3061832609518891075.post-38501732210554797262019-11-03T19:28:57.615-06:002019-11-03T19:28:57.615-06:00It was indeed special. It was indeed special.Emma Springfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10543689047463574012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3061832609518891075.post-1776842769798764842019-11-03T17:33:10.585-06:002019-11-03T17:33:10.585-06:00What a special gift! You knew you had a winner then.

My Retired Man is not a romantic but has done a lot of kind, out of the blue, things throughout our 52 years together. One that stands out was when I was very low because my mom was terribly sick and I was driving over a hundred miles a day to be with her. He knew how I liked Andrea Bocelli and he surprised me with expensive tickets that I would never buy because of the price. He was not a fan but did that to make me happy. Andrea was wonderful but MRM was awesome.
