  1. Wow! I would be happy eating your dinner...
I know how important Thanksgiving is in your country. I wish it was celebrated in my country too. People need to remember to say "Thank you."

    1. It is a national holiday here. I think that you can have a meal or day of thanksgiving without it being decreed by the government. Choose a day and surround yourself with loved ones and good food. And remember to be thankful to do it.

    1. In my future I see a smaller meal of turkey then turkey sandwiches and a soup or casserole. Turkey and noodles al fredo sounds good.

  4. Except for the turkey, which I don't like, that's great!

    1. Anything you enjoy eating is good with me. I do think I may have room for a piece of pie today. I did not yesterday.

    1. We don't have Thanksgiving here in the form you celebrate it (I would like to bring it over as a tradition, much more than Halloween, which is so popular here now) - but we have "Erntedank" - "Saying grace for the harvest", but it is more the religious ritual in church - not that much festivity at home.

    2. "Thanks for the harvest" is more what we are supposed to be celebrating here. Ideally we are giving thanks by over-indulging in the foods of the harvest.

  6. We had the last of our turkey salad today. It was scrumptious. I'm not looking forward to heading back to work tomorrow.

    1. I think that is what I like the most about being retired. No work schedule.
